SACRAMENTAL PREPARATION
CONFIRMATION
Bishop Marcus will once again come to the Parish to administer the Sacrament of Confirmation on Wednesday 4th December at 7pm.
FIRST RECONCILIATION
Preparation for First Reconciliation (First Confession) for baptised Catholic children in Year 3 and above will begin at Christ the King church in January 2024. If you wish your child to receive the Sacrament, please email catechist.christtheking@dioceseofleeds.org.uk with your child’s name, date of birth and date of baptism by Monday 18th December at the latest. You will then be sent full details of the preparation programme and a registration form.
FIRST HOLY COMMUNION
Children in Year 4 and above. Classes begin in the Spring term (children must have already made their First Confession to join this class)
Mass attendance is essential to receive the above Sacraments. If you are not currently attending Mass, you are invited to do so.
